Martial art has had an important part in my life since I was a teenager. It helped me to find positive focus when I had dropped out of school and engaged in all kinds of mischief.
I started training in London with boxing and Chinese kickboxing. At 18 I traveled to China and spent a few years In Asia . I experienced some pretty brutal training In Chinese martial art camps. And then later trained and competed in MuayThai/ MMA camps in Thailand.
I fought MuayThai professionally in China, Thailand and the UK and also fought in amatuer Boxing. I was mostly into striking arts but spent quite a lot of time studying MMA, BJJ and wrestling. After a back injury I moved more into coaching from the age of 23. In 2013 I set up my first club in London while studying for a sport science degree.
In 2016 I graduated and returned to Beijing. I taught in several mma clubs, trained with some of Chinas best MMA athletes and judged some fights. The air pollution was terrible and nearly killed me. However During that time I had the fortune to work alongside and learn from great coaches from all over the world.
In 2019 right before covid hit I returned to London coached for about 1.5 years in West London and then opened the MMA dojo in 2022.
Now Im mainly focused on running the MMA dojo, but still teach part time. I also created True energy Yoga and have set up the Spinefix course to help people heal from back inuries.
Martial art changed my life in a positive way . Im glad to pass it on
