At 22, I injured my back training as a Muay Thai fighter. After a training session I experienced really bad back pain with pain shooting things down my legs. I had experienced back pain before, but nothing like this. 

An MRI scan revealed that I had slipped a disc in my lumbar spine and it had compressed my sciatic nerve. 

I could barely train. I tried going to Chiropractors and physios for weeks and they couldn’t help me . In the end Doctors said I needed surgery.

As I recovered from the operation it was a dark time as I believed I would never be able to do the things I love again

Luckily, around that period, I was also studying sports science and motivated by the pain I dove deep into spine biomechanics to see if there might be some hope

 I kept researching and uncovered game changing knowledge  which turned everything I knew about the spine and about training upside-down
