Martial art has had an important part in my life since I was a teenager. It helped me to find positive focus when I had dropped out of school and became addicted to drugs.
I started training in London, then later at 18 spent time
training in China in martial art camps and later in Muaythai / MMA camps in Thailand.
I fought in professionally in three different countries but I naturally gravitated towards coaching . I gained a sport science degree and was a coach for about 15 years.
Now Im focused on running the MMA dojo.
Martial art had a positive effect on my life and now the the goal is to pass it on. I hope that MMA dojo will positively affect you and help you to make positive change.

Our son has been attending the kids classes and training with John and his guys for 6 months now and he just fought his first interclub with MMA Dojo and it's been a really positive experience, my kid felt prepared, skilled, safe and confident going into the fight. John was in his corner all the way and everyone at the gym has been really supportive. Adult Muay Thai classes are v good too, never overcrowded so you get proper attention and learn quickly.
