5 Main Goals

1. Posterior Chain Dominant

Becoming Posterior chain dominant (PCD) means that the muscles on the back of your body are stronger than those on the front. This is the way the human body would have been in nature and it is much better for health and fitness for several reasons. 

Joints are better aligned , breathing is better , nerves function better and lastly it leads to better muscle function 

  The funny thing is due to of lack of activity and prolonged sitting most people are actually the complete opposite! They are stronger and tighter in the front which leads to weakness and injury. True Energy Yoga corrects this. 

2. Spine stability and awareness

In recent decades major breakthroughs were made in Spine Biomechanics. At True Energy we integrate these lessons into training . Once understood these concepts are life changing because they help you to fix and rehabilitate back and neck problems or just avoid them completely.

Spine strength and awareness will also allow you to develop great physical condition. At True Energy we say the spine is the key pillar of your body, learn to stabilise and protect it and you will stay strong fit and heathy and longterm.

All of the spine related knowledge can be learned slowly through our regular classes or quickly at the SpineBio courses that we run.

3. Soft physical conditioning

True energy Yoga classes are a gentle way to increase strength, flexibility, coordination and balance. It’s good for total beginners beacuse it’s not so intense and anyone can participate.

It is also great for fitter people as it maintains flexibility, muscle tone, balance and coordination without too much training stress.

The blood flow to the muscles and joints combined with total body activation and relaxation make it perfect when recovering from hard training in a deload week or recovering from injury. it is a perfect compliment to Vital strength, Kick fit or Box fit classes.

4. Calm mindfulness

We never tell anyone how they should feel. However In True Energy Yoga we encourage people to practice mindful breathing in the class.

Focusing internally and controlling breathing can significantly calm down the nervous system reducing stress and helping you to benefit more from the session.

Science has shown that consistent mindfull breathing practice even for a few weeks has positive effects on the brain. It creates connections between the frontal cortex and amygdala increasing ability to control emotion. It also builds grey matter which improves ability to focus and it can lead to more positive mood states over time.

5. Increase Neural Energy

Who doesn’t want to feel more energy! However Theory of Energy is where True energy Yoga differs from tradition.

Traditional practices talk Chakras , Qi or Kundalini. Our explanation is more focused on Neural/biochemical energy. The Ancient Traditions aren’t wrong in saying energy flows in the body. They just didn’t have technology to examine it closer. Now we know there is indeed energy! It is biochemical and electrical energy in your Brain, blood and nerves and you can increase it!

Everybody has neurological energy things such as dopamine, Serotonin and endorphins for example.

Increasing it can make people who were depressed and demotivated become energetic. It can also help strong people become even stronger.
